HCA Healthcare has completed its acquisition of the College of Health Care Professions, adding more than 8000 students and 10 Texas campuses to its education network. The deal comes as US healthcare employment is projected to grow faster than the wider labor market through 2034.
HCA Healthcare’s acquisition of 40 Texas urgent care centers takes its nationwide network above 430 locations. The deal also shows how urgent care is becoming a strategic entry point into larger hospital and outpatient networks.
